Brooks acquired three design centers that were managing their own CAD design data in different manners. The management solutions for their CAD design data ranged from a legacy Agile system, to EPDM to simply storing their CAD data on a network shared drive. The disparate system had inconsistent data and were inaccessible by other groups.
Zero Wait-State worked with Brooks to create a migration plan that pulled data from all three locations, cleaned and transformed it and loaded it to their PLM system for use with CAD connectors.
With ZWS’s help, Brooks was able to unify their CAD data in one Agile PLM system and make the data available company wide. Their CAD data can be used with the internal viewer and can be used with the CAD connector. All of this was accomplished with minimal downtime.

Alert Innovation used an outdated PLM system and needed to move on. The company had extremely knowledgeable in-house expertise, but sought added guidance to prepare for and implement its new Propel PLM system.
Zero Wait-State used its implementation expertise to share its knowledge and assist Alert Innovation’s team with the implementation of Propel PLM. ZWS coached the Alert Innovation team so they could perform necessary data migrations internally.
Alert Innovation now has a very modern PLM system that is highly tailored to the company’s specific needs. During implementation, members of the Alert Innovation team achieved tremendous knowledge about Propel PLM to enhance in-house expertise. ZWS continues to be a knowledge partner with Alert Innovation, assisting them when needed as they move forward confidently toward the future.

MKS acquired a division of a company that used Agile PLM and Oracle ERP, however neither the Agile PLM system nor the database was included in the acquisition. MKS had not implemented Agile PLM for Product Collaboration, but was a goal for long term PLM. The configuration and dataset for the Agile PLM solution would have to be re-engineered without direct access to the source Agile system and data from the acquisition. In addition, included in the source data was Design Data for Agile EC. Another division within MKS also needed access to the acquisition data because they were being merged with the transfer.
ZWS helped guide MKS through the implementation and re-engineering of their Agile solution. We also helped with MKS's data migration and integration. The first phase included the core Agile implementation, MCAD EC for Solidworks, and an integration with EBS. The Agile solution included building a compatible, but redefined configuration, and a data migration using information provided by the company from which the division was acquired. The integration with EBS was co-developed with MKS IT using Informatic. Furthermore, ZWS migrated another internal division at MKS into Agile.
The data migration and integration with Agile PLM allowed MKS to continue operations, and enabled merged data to work together in a single solution. The Agile PLM solution also integrated with Oracle EBS with new tools to mitigate data transfer error handling. Rather than face data silos and deal with data scattered across myriad systems, MKS achieved its objectives to unify and integrate its data to realize the corporate strategic acquisition goals.
