Motorola maintains a complex engineering environment that uses a vendor specific PDM system, but also requires integration to enterprise systems. Searching for critical information often caused delays.
DesignState integration software from ZWS ties Agile PLM to the engineering-centric Windchill PDM system enabling the data sharing Motorola needs.
Both the company and the engineering team reap the rewards of the new integration. With a free flow of information, it’s no longer necessary to designate an Engineer for information requests, and there is now zero delay in looking for pertinent information.

Multek designs and manufactures custom circuits and circuit interconnects. After an acquisition, the company wanted to improve its infrastructure to handle its growth and expansion. An upgrade of the ERP system was approved, as well as a PLM implementation to streamline and better manage product lifecycles and records. The process of upgrading and implementing PLM involved many disparate Engineering and Quality Management Systems and processes that operated in silos in hard drives and local databases. Due to the complexity of the project, Multek needed help with the upgrade and implementation to streamline all their processes and create visibility throughout their organization to generate efficiency.
Zero Wait-State worked with Multek to determine the project scope and end goals. The entirety of the project involved installation, process mapping and re-engineering, configuration, testing and production go-live support for Agile Product Collaboration, Product Portfolio Management and Product Quality Management modules. Furthermore, ZWS assisted the EBS partner in the project with the design and configuration of an integration framework that allowed Multek to transfer product records from Agile PLM to ERP. ZWS provided guidance in the data mapping, cleansing, transformation and migration from various source systems to Agile PLM.
With the increased efficiency in their Change and Quality Management processes, Multek was able to focus on other initiatives and priorities. With data cleansing and transformation, ZWS provided Multek with a single source of truth about their products that helped their relationships with their customers and with compliance agencies.

Everi Holdings (formerly Multimedia Games) had a hard go-live date to meet. The company needed to marry its Agile PG&C with its Enterprise System (NAV). They had hit some stumbling blocks in the implementation of Agile and the go-live target data was in jeopardy. The company needed a partner that could come in late in the process and pull off a victory.
Zero Wait-State helped Everi Holdings start from scratch in the implementation of Agile and PG&C. We redesigned their compliance functionality to match up with the specific needs around the regulatory requirements in the gambling industry allowing them to take advantage of their PLM and Enterprise integration in the process.
With the help of ZWS, Everi Holdings was able to achieve their go-live target date. ZWS also assisted with data migration into this regulated environment along with engineering data currently residing in their legacy PDM (Windchill) system. Zero Wait-State has become Everi Holding's go-to resource for PLM support and provides guidance and resources to help them expand their PLM footprint to gain more value from their investment in PLM.
