One of the advantages the Engineering Collaboration environment offers in Agile PLM is the ability to take different data sets from various CAD tools and allow you to integrate them via the 3D CAD viewer, AutoVue. This viewer has a feature called "digital mockup" which will allow virtual design reviews with CAD data from products like SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer, and even electronic CAD tools like Cadence. Users of the viewer can markup information, assemble parts, and even check for interferences. This short video shows a basic scenario taking information from Pro/Engineer and SolidWorks and assembling it together and checking for interferences.
