As Director of Product Development Dennis designs and manages development efforts of Zero Wait-State’s DesignState software.  DesignState enables and automates the integration of CAD Data Management systems with Enterprise PLM systems.  DesignState is currently deployed at companies such as Harris, John Deere, Stewart and Stevenson, Paccar, and Cisco. Dennis has decades of experience in software development.  He provides deployment support and customization for DesignState.

While working at Cisco, Dennis co-developed an innovative MCAD-ECAD data exchange process, and developed a worldwide PC distribution strategy and installation scripting for Pro/Engineer, which became a standard for engineering tools across the company. He coordinated and tested MCAD aspects of PLM integration including planning, documentation, implementation, testing and maintenance. In his role as a Senior Development Engineer for requirements management tools, he designed and implemented initial prototypes, evaluated middleware technologies, developed architectural strategies, documented processes, data flows and system interactions. Dennis also served as an interface with the business team and a mentor and coordinator for the junior engineers.
