Implementation Services

The first step in establishing a successful product development environment is to have a seamless installation. Zero Wait-State’s consultants will work with you to ensure that your installation meets the demands of your day to day usage requirements. As part of the overall implementation process, we will work with your users to determine the ideal configuration requirements and set up the reference files. Setting up your company standards should be based on your specific practices rather than just accepting the software defaults. We work with you to establish your drawing formats and standards, tolerance setup, layer definition, file structure, start parts, common parts (hardware, etc.) In order to gain the most benefit from implementation, we work with you to determine the best practices and procedures to be followed when creating solid models of your products. Our experienced implementation consultants will work closely with your team to ensure a successful implementation.

Zero Wait-State has developed standard implementation packages for the products we work with.  These standard deployment packages allow companies to minimize cost and to rapidly deploy applications.

Enterprise PDM from SolidWorks

Enterprise PDM Quickstart - For simple implementations with basic workflow, revision control, and tasks to output drawings to PDF format upon release.

Enterprise PDM - Connect to Existing PLM - This service package includes workflow set up and our Design State product for connecting EPDM to your PLM

Enterprise PDM - Full Build out - This service package is for companies that want to leverage all the EPDM capabilites plus some add ons for full Project mangement with GANT charts etc and full document management capabilities.

PDMLink

PDMLink Quickstart  deployment includes the installation of the software with a Oracle or SQL Database.  It includes two days of configuration and two days of mentoring.  This 5 day Quickstart allows companies to vault information with access control and to leverage out of the box workflows for change management.

Agile

The Agile Quickstart includes loading Agile on a server with Oracle with two days of configuration and setup and two days of mentoring.  The 5 day Quickstart  allows companies to vault information with access control logic and to set up a major and minor change workflow.

Engineering Collaboration for Agile

Zero Wait-State is developing an Accelerate solution for  Engineering Collaboration.  This allows us to quote this implementation as a fixed price engagement based on the number of users.  The Accelerate package includes installation and configuration of the Engineering Collaboration environment for all Mechanical and Electrical design packages Agile supports. It also includes training for users and administrators.  It does not include data migration which is quoted separately and is dependent upon the amount of data a company is bringing into the application.
